At work I run a pair of Dell Optiplex 960s Each with a Quad core i7 processor and 16gb of ram, each machine boots to a 64gb SSD with a 1TB HDD. One machine boots to Windows 7 (mostly for access to enteprise stuff) and the other Ubuntu Linux. Both machines run a number virtual machines and local servers.
